Top Performers and Chiropractic: NBA MVP Derek Rose

Top performers have used chiropractic as a way to get back on the court, stage, or field for many, many years. In our Boston chiropractic office, we have seen several professional sports stars from baseball, basketball, and hockey as well as stage and screen performing arts stars.

Recently, NBA MVP Derek Rose was looking for help when he turned to a chiropractor, Dr, Stuart Yoss of Bannockburn Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center of Deerfield, Illinois. On ESPN’s Sports center while being interviewed by Doris Burke, Rose said:

“…the whole week I was seeing a great chiropractor, Stuart Yoss. He did a great job of getting me back.”

How about that testimonial!!!

What I appreciate most about chiropractic care is that it just makes sense. Chiropractic is based on 4 simple truths:

  1. The body is an amazing organism/machine.
  2. The nervous system runs this amazing organism/machine.
  3. Damage the nervous system with a spinal misalignment (subluxation) and your body will not work correctly.
  4. Correct (via a chiropractic adjustment) the spinal misalignment (subluxation) and allow the body’s natural healing to happen. (no drugs needed)

The bottom line is chiropractic is a great way to get your spine and your health on track. chiropractic care is by far the most effective, inexpensive, and safe way to go about getting your back and your health performing at it best. Just ask NBA MVP, Derek Rose.

“I was majoring in chemistry at Villanova University when my path turned to chiropractic. I was going on interviews to be a pharmaceutical sales representative, and they always asked me what I wanted to be doing in five years. My answer was always the same: “I want to be helping people, enjoying my work, while making a difference.”
