Chiropractor in Boston

Clinical Excellence with a Smile

“I was majoring in chemistry at Villanova University when my path turned to chiropractic. I was going on interviews to be a pharmaceutical sales representative, and they always asked me what I wanted to be doing in five years. My answer was always the same: “I want to be helping people, enjoying my work, while making a difference.”

“I had met some chiropractors that truly enjoyed what they did and loved their work. I was so amazed by the concept of helping people just by using your hands. It was then I decided to apply to chiropractic college.”

Sports, Stage, and Movie Sets

Dr. Quigley also has adjusted many top-performing celebrities, including members of the Eagles, Duran Duran, Die Antwoord, players on the Red Sox, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Marathon, and worked on several movie sets, most recently for the movie Central Intelligence.

Chiropractic Training

Dr. Chris attended New York Chiropractic College. While there, he learned many chiropractic techniques to help a wide spectrum of people.

He enjoyed learning about the healing abilities the body naturally has and how chiropractors help the body to function better. He also met a few chiropractors that became mentors to him and helped him set up his own successful practice.

Dedicated to Clinical Excellence

Dr. Quigley recently completed a fellowship in Primary Spine Care.  The Fellowship is Certified in Joint Providership from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education, Cleveland University Kansas City, College of Chiropractic, and the Academy of Chiropractic. It is the first joint providership program between medical and chiropractic academia.

The Fellowship Program is a 2-year intensive program on the spine and teaches the latest research findings in managing trauma cases and pain management, advanced imaging, collaboration with surgeons to help prevent surgery, and specializing in locating “before non-evident” causes of the pain.

He earned his certification in chiropractic spinal trauma from Life West University and the international chiropractors association 1998.

He has additional certification in caring for spinal trauma patients from the International Chiropractors Association Division of Applied Sciences and Life West University. This allows Dr. Quigley to offer the latest techniques based upon peer-reviewed research when caring for his patients, while also drawing from 36 years of practice experience.

Learning More and Staying Healthy

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Chris is always working to improve his health and the health of his family. He’s very involved in physical fitness and nutrition. He enjoys cycling, soccer, baseball, and is a 3rd-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

He takes well over the required amount of continuing education each year to continually learn more about chiropractic. He enjoys reading books that teach him more about how our bodies function and tries to constantly improve his patient’s care.

He and his family get regular weekly chiropractic care, and Dr. Chris has only taken two sick days in nearly 36 years!

Community Involvement

Dr. Chris is a big supporter of the Pine Street Inn and the Wellness for All Foundation for underprivileged children. He has raised and donated thousands of dollars through his corporate wellness programs. We participate in yearly coat drives for both Pine Street Inn and Rosie’s Place.

Dr. Chris is a member of the Beacon Hill Civic Association.   He is a nationally known lecturer who speaks to the legal profession on medical-legal standards as well as local businesses and institutions on healthy living. He has been recognized by the Academy of Chiropractic as a clinician of excellence and has been awarded the Distinguished Service Citation by the New York Chiropractic College as well as numerous other awards.

Dr. Quigley is supported by a caring, highly trained staff that is dedicated to meeting the needs of their patients in processing insurance, legal or work-related documentation.

He is the author of After the Car Crash!: A Comprehensive Guide for Victims and Attorneys to Recover Your Health and Protect Your Rights!, a comprehensive guide to recovery and compensation when injured in an auto accident.

About

Tiana Celesia, RD

Registered Dietitian

Tiana always had an interest in food and nutrition, even as a child. At college, she was halfway through before she found out nutrition was a career and switched her focus. Unfortunately, at that time, a career in nutrition centered on allopathic and hospital nutrition and treating people who were already sick. She knew there had to be more!

A Different Approach

Tiana studied nutrition while her husband was in chiropractic school. She was impressed by the holistic model of health, and understanding how the body is a self-healing organism; it just needs the right materials to function properly.

Continuing her studies in holistic, wellness-based nutrition, Tiana found the philosophy of functional medicine, which is about helping people get well and not just treating their symptoms or deficiencies. Focusing on the underlying cause of their issues, she helps them discover any dysfunction in the body and provides support to balance it. This may mean addressing small imbalances or symptoms before it can progress to a condition or disease that has a name.

Along the way, Tiana became a Registered Dietitian and is a licensed nutritionist in Massachusetts. She earned Holistic Health Coach certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and is certified in Applied Functional Medicine from the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM).

Away From the Practice

It should come as no surprise that Tiana loves food and cooking. She also loves anything centered on water or the ocean. That includes walks on the beach, boating, and fishing. You might also find her reading the latest nutrition book by the pool.
