Health is an Inside Job!

Now is not a time to hide in fear.  Now is a time to rise and build vitality.  Health is an inside job.

Let’s look for opportunities in this difficult time.  Many of us have found ourselves with more time at home and our schedules upended.

Your brain is the most important organ for your health.  Every function in your body depends on a command from your brain.

Under times of great stress, our health can suffer.  Stress changes your biochemistry, increasing the production of the hormone cortisol, which increases blood pressure and blood sugar as well as suppresses the immune system.

The most important thing you can do to improve your immune function right now is relax.  That might sound hard under the current circumstances.  When you boil it down, it is a choice.   Choose to give yourself at least a few minutes a day to focus on relaxation.  Whether it is walking along one of our beautiful beaches,  meditating or singing along with your favorite song, it has a beneficial effect.

The chiropractic adjustment is perhaps the quickest and most effective way to create a relaxation response.   Studies have shown that spinal adjustments result in lower cortisol levels in your body and allow your brain to regain health and improve immune function.

We are here to help you restore balance to your spine, nervous system and your health when you are ready.

“I was majoring in chemistry at Villanova University when my path turned to chiropractic. I was going on interviews to be a pharmaceutical sales representative, and they always asked me what I wanted to be doing in five years. My answer was always the same: “I want to be helping people, enjoying my work, while making a difference.”

For decades, few injuries have generated as much controversy in personal injury litigation as whiplash. Defense experts have questioned its legitimacy, insurers have challenged its severity, and juries have often struggled with claims involving persistent symptoms despite normal imaging studies. Yet modern research increasingly supports the conclusion that whiplash-associated disorders (WAD) are legitimate injuries with identifiable biomechanical and neurophysiological mechanisms.

Whiplash Cases and the Missing Injury

For decades, whiplash injury cases have presented a challenge for personal injury attorneys. Clients often report significant neck pain following a motor vehicle collision, yet conventional imaging studies frequently fail to identify a clear source of the symptoms. Defense experts may argue that the absence of MRI or CT findings suggests a minor injury or no injury at all.

Research by Dr. Nikolai Bogduk, widely considered the leading anatomical researcher, helped change that conversation.
